I want to enter a string read from a barcode.

This section explains how to enter a string read from a barcode reader connected to the VT5.

1. Configure the settings for connecting the VT5 and the barcode reader.
From the menu, select [Resources] -> [Periphery connection] -> [Barcode].

2. Select the “Use bar code” check box, and then configure settings such as the port to connect to.

  The port is fixed to the USB port on the VT5-WX.

3. Configure the settings for inputting the string read with the barcode reader into a text display part.
From the menu, select [Parts] -> [Basic parts] -> [Text display], and then place a text display part.

4. Open the text display part settings screen, and then open the “Key/Barcode entry” tab. Select the “Barcode entry” check box.

Tap the text display part to activate it, and then read the barcode to enter the read string into this part.
