Technical Support Engineer (Contract)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang

Job Type:

• 12 months contract (yearly renewable)

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Acquire technical knowledge on product applications.
• Diagnose, trouble shooting and resolve technical hardware and software problems.
• Effectively answer, prioritise and escalate customer issues.
• Work closely with Sales team on customer feedback.
• Provide onsite support and training.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• 1-2 years’ experience is preferred but fresh graduates with strong vocational/hands on electrical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Aggressive and hardworking. Candidate must be a fast learner and can carry out instructions quickly in the study of equipment manufacturing and automation industry.
• Required Language(s): Mandarin, English, Malay
• Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel.
• Able to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
• Prefer candidates who can start work in September/October 2023.
